Reading the Inquisition is powered by Omeka 2, with a custom theme and transcription plugin developed by The Digital Scholarship & Publishing Studio at the University of Iowa Libraries.

As far as we know, this site is unique in its ability to display the same document in three formats at once. Getting the software to do this took additional thinking, programming, and trouble shooting from the talented and patient folks from Curricular and Research Computing and Information and Library Services at Bates College, including:
Michael Hanrahan
Cori Hoover
Jason Moreau
Jake Paris
Branden Rush
Ashley Wilbur

Sanjana J. Friedman, Stanford ’22
Cristopher Hernandez Sifontes, Bates College ’18
Karen Melvin, Bates College
Sylvia Sellers-García, Boston College
William B. Taylor, University of California, Berkeley
